Troll Cunning Forge Cork

By popular demand by my wonderfully strange customers, the troll cunning forge cork! Stamped with our makers mark and the “may include magical corks” post stamp.

I originally started using corks for shipping pointy metal things because they were were a plentiful object in our home due to mead making.
When a customer would post a picture of their purchase the cork would always still be on the object. You really couldn’t tell what it was they bought, and it obscured my work. I pondered this long and hard, it kept happening. I started to realize that people really wanted the corks and had given them a status beyond mythical in grandiosity. One modern grimoire spoke of planting the troll cunning cork in the eye socket of a human skull for growing a mead tree. It then went on to say that whomever drank of this mead would gain special powers. I myself never made such claims, but who am I to stand in the way of emergent folk magic traditions?

And so I began stamping my corks with my makers mark so that at least the customers who took the picture would be able to at the very least show my makers mark. Not long there after that people started to request to purchase the corks themselves. Most likely due to their desire to use them for nefarious occult purposes.
