Anvil Dust

Anvil dust has been used in folk magic for many different purposes. Today, magnetic sand is replaced for it, or iron filings. But there is no replacement for real anvil dust, from a real blacksmith.

Anvil dust has been used on lode stones to bring luck and money and has been used in making goofer dust a famous hoodoo cursing powder. Not many blacksmith’s think to sell it these days so it’s hard to come by though it be plentiful. Comes in a small plastic bag.
